The next morning after getting an hours sleep, we had to get the bus at 5:30, in which Andrew was not looking forward to as he knew he was going to have the worlds worst hangover......HE DID! Thankfully, there were some decent lads on our bus so we all got on well
. We headed to Barrington Tops, a place on the way to Byron Bay where we could do a few activities. So we decided to do downhill biking and night kayaking, the only place in the world that does it! Ok so downhill biking was really very, very, very downhill! it was actually steeper than a 1/1 gradient!, basically meaning that if you had brakes (mine kindly didnt) they wouldnt work anyway! it was true! We all fell off somewhere down the track! I hit a large groove in the path which lauched me into the undergrowth! thankfully i was ok but as i came stumbling out the bush, i managed to catch sight of one of the girls flipping over her handle bars and rolling like a bolder down this path! She was ok, a few grazes here and there, but she was worst off! Then came the big fall, which included Andy! In order to get to the end, we had to go down a lovely hill in the name of the "widow maker". Oh dear me. These 2 guys went down first, they were fine, then andy. A guy called Tom and I were watching and he was going fine untill he hit these 2 bumps where he flew off and completed a full on flip in the air which then caused him to land on his back, and he was sprung back up to his feet! We all looked on in astonishment! But couldnt help laughing, all that bashing around and he escaped with a bruised pinky! The reason he was ok was because he landed in a freshly laid heap of cow poo, acting as a cushion! Hilarious!
I was surprised we actually made it to that night, where we took part in night kayaking! That was great fun aswell! We went down 7 rapids, all at grade 4. It was pitch dark and all we had was a light on our helmets! We bopth felt abit like Ray Meares!
The next morning we packed and hit the road in our Oz Experience bus!
Hey everybody! We what can i say! since we have left sydney we have been up 2 quite alot! but i will split it into a few parts so it will show on the map. We met up with Tom, Chris and Shipley for a last night out before we left Sydney so we decided to go to a bar where the national Bikini contest was being held. Dont worry Emma, i had to drag Andy in there! (dont be silly, he was the first one in really). Anyway, we were at a table and to cut the long story short, the manager asked if we wanted to be judges! We were given all the proper forms and free entry! As it is such a long story, just look at the pictures which explains it all! Anyway, a brilliant night! All 5 of us lived our childhood dreams!
