Hey everyone, so we left Bangkok ok, delayed an hour and a half but after a few card games, we were rolling. So in conclusion of Bangkok: Really busy, so polluted, culture shock, cheap and need no longer than 3 days. But most of all it was an experience that had to be done!
The flight was only 2.5 hours and pretty empty so we kept ourselves ammused with the onflight entertainment (who wants to be a millionire?) and a certain good looking chap called Jack (see the picture).
So after we landed, we experienced Singapores technology with the skytrain. Its really cheap, reliable. So much beter than taxis, so we were pretty relieved to find it! As we were unfamiliar with the area, we booked the hotel without knowing the area.....so picture this, 2 travelling Englishmen walking through Singapores Red Light District. Oh dear me. Every other shop was a strip joint full of sweaty men, so it was no surprise we left 2 days later nd are now writing from sleepy sams hostel. A really chilled out, relaxed place which we wishe we would have found earlier!! All thanks to our friend Isabelle from Switzerland who pionted us in the right direction! Thankx love!!
Enjoy our photos!!

Read you were in Singapore, here are some random facts:
1. It is illegal to: spit, chew gum, litter and not flush the toilet. A large fine and possible jail sentence (3 years for littering) can be expected for any of these. I dare u to drop litter!!!!!
2. People: 77% Chinese, 14% Malay, 8% Indian 2% jack and Andy
3. Respect is shown to one's elders; by law, children must support their parents in retirement years.
4. Singapore has over 350 species of bird - around 7am is prime spotting time.
5. In the pharmacy of the Imperial Herbal Restaurant near Raffles, a selection of Chinese love potions can be purchased - from 'deer-penis wine' to 'seahorse tonic', it's all there. Your one and only chance!!!
