Hi there everyone. Budapest is a remarkable city. So much to see - so much to learn - so much history. Our tour today was to the west of Budapest to a small village called Szentendre.  On Tuesday the organisers wanted to cancel todays tour due to the weather conditions.  But we decided not to do so and we all are very pleased we didn't.  This country is so rich in history – with numerous Roman ruines, old castles and beautiful churches.  Some children have asked ’why so many tours’.  Well if they have managed to take in and store all the information they have been given, then they have achieved more than the average child.  A very old friend once said  ’In order to keep your brain alert you need to learn at least one new thing each day’  Well in this case your children have absorbed more than just one at least dozens and they have done this in extreme weather yet in high spirits and with loads of laughs.  In the quaint town of Szentendre we did a little shopping (again) – this town is filled with handcrafts which Hungary is famous for – embroided cloths, wooden toys, ceramics and hot chocolate.  I have noticed that the children have started to buy branded BUDAPEST shopping bags and I have a suspect that its for all the excess baggage.  Our concert tonight was in a small church on the Buda side of Budapest where we shared the stage with one of Hungary’s Children’s Choir.  Our hosts enjoyed our performance and we once again sold many CD’s.  So we are spreading the word to the world.  Tomorrow we leave for Slovenia and once again a little tour which has been noted as a walking one.  Hopefully our weary legs will hold up.  Enjoy the pics
