The Asia's Longest Dual Zipline
The White Water Rafting
The Big Road Trip to Tinago Falls and Ma. Cristina Falls
Alarm!!---We (I and Chona Rose Natan) woke up early in the morning not because we were excited but we've to catch up our flight in Ilo-ilo City at exactly 12:50pm. From Bacolod, we have to travel by sea going to Iloilo City. It took us one and a half hour to arrive at the airport.
----Thanks to Ocean Jet for not delaying our trip. We arrived just on time.
Getting in Cagayan De Oro (CDO) by air!
We looked out the window after 40min and we saw entire Cagayan De Oro---It seemed like where in another dimension. I guess that was the time we both felt excited.
Wish granted! (Thank you Lord)
Welcome to The City of Golden Friendship, CDO
Going back to reality, our itinerary was still unplanned so we have to decide what to visit first on our list. Not to spoil any second, we took a cub and asked Manong Nanding (the driver) what's the best route for 3 days and 2 nights stay in CDO from what we had list down. He suggested the fun-rides in Dahilayan Adventure Park, Bukidnon.
[Actually we already experienced almost of the rides in Dahilayan Adventure Park but we wanted to experience what it feels like riding Asia's longest dual zipline.]
Through the smooth and bumpy road going to Dahilayan, hectares of pineapple plantation of Del Monte caught our eyes.
Take note:It is foggy in Bukidnon so it's normal seeing people on their jacket everyday.
After 2 hours, we finally arrived in Dahilayan. We never felt nervous and never got the chance to take rest because we don't wanna waste time. We rushed to the cashier and chose the package: zipline 840m+320m+150m for P600. While waiting, we took pictures and record videos.
Flying by wires, seeing all nature in bird's-eye view, shouting out loud----all in one! I felt like I'm superwoman!
One more thing, Chona conquered her fear of heights! (hehehehe)
Since we experienced already almost of the rides like zorb, ATV, buggy cart, trampoline in Boracay we had decided not to try it again in Dahilayan and go back early in CDO so we could experience night life like their Night Cafe.
Cagayanons celebrate night cafe' every Friday and Saturday of the week in their Divisoria. ---it's like Octoberfest every week. They can have dinner outside, can buy clothes for cheaper cost, and can listen live bands on the streets. After night cafe', teenagers usually hangout in what they called "The Bridge"--to bond with their friends/ barkada and to relax from school and office works.
At around 7:00pm we were in CDO looking for Hotel to stay. Thanks to Manong Nanding for suggesting instantly Willshire Inn, P595 good for two persons. Cheap for whoever wants to save.

The Breath Taking White Water Rafting - Cagayan River
Since we're only two (me and Chona) we joined the other paddlers: Jeff, Jeremy, Tristan, Steven, Lester, Maris, Jes, Mich, Jj and Franze. We don't know each other but i know we have the same goal that time--to enjoy and to conquer this heart-pumping ride.
It was a 3-hour journey--taking all strength for 21 rapids of Cagayan River.I was a bit nervous at first but I knew all the way that I can do it. --and I did!!

Wonders of Nature: Ma. Cristina Falls and Tinago falls
Rush to Iligan City
We never had the assurance if we can go back in time in Cagayan for our flight yet we still planned to see Tinago and Ma. Cristina falls in Iligan City. It's two hours away from CDO but after we reached our destination, all the restless days and night were all paid up by the wonders of nature. We just had few hours to stay so we took all the ideas to maximize our time. We even forgot to eat our breakfast. And we ate our lunch in the bus when we went back to Cagayan.
We were tired but as long as we treasure and keep all the memories in our mind and heart we can say that indeed we enjoyed our stay, our experiences and our moments in this kind of adventure. IT WAS ALL WORTH IT!
