due to the beautiful poetry of Ellen Hopkins. First I met Eden. Eden's father is a minister and her mother is just as much a bible-beater. Eden and her sister Eve have been raised to be good girls. Eden, though, has other plans. The first time I saw her and Andrew together, I knew there was something special between the two of them. Even with their differences, and the fact that her father would never allow them to date, I could feel their love in the air. It reminds me of the love i feel for my boyfriend. I really hope that one day Eden finds a way to tell her parents about Andrew. Soon after I met Seth. At first glance, Seth seems like the husky farm boy; hardened by years of hard work with his father. But getting to know Seth, I soon realized he was keeping a secret. And when I followed him out of town and saw him enter the house of another man, I knew exactly what secret he had been keeping all these years

Whitney's the typical inferior sibling to her sister, Kyra. Whitney constantly complains about how much more her parents love Kyra, and I cannot help but feel for the girl. I think alot of people are put into that situation growing up. It is natural to have sibling rivalry. Finally i met Ginger. I almost cannot even begin to put into words what Ginger experiences with her mother. I thought I had some rough patches with my mom, but Ginger...that poor girl...I was hanging out with her one day and we saw her mom hookin down the street...that's right...selling her body for cash...that woman has issues. I saw the hidden tears in Ginger's eyes that day; the hurt she holds in and pretends isn't there...believe me I saw it. Everyone single one of these people has their own issues that I'm starting to feel that maybe life isn't so bad after all haha.
At the beginning of the summer, I began my travels through the world of
