Weather forecast:  sunny, mid 60's, medium swells

Woke up about 7:30am local time - whichever wave we were currently riding I guess - healthy and feeling good.  We headed off for breakfast of ham and cheese omelet, hash browns and sausage for John, scrambled egg and bacon for me.  OK, I'll confess to indulging in a waffle with blueberries too!

We didn't find much of interest in the activities sheet other than an advanced digital camera seminar.  We checked out the shops at The Emporium, watched the women elbow their way through a pile of scarves on 'sale', A Sale At The Emporium Shops, Deck 5

and took a few photos of the ship.  Time to head for the camera seminar but the room (Michael's Club) was already standing room only.  Instead we decided to splurge on 20 minutes of internet usage to check email and the baseball standings.  It was just killing John being gone and out-of-touch with our Diamondbacks in the running for a play-off spot this year.  We held our breath as the webpage slowly loaded to reveal our  D-backs are clinging to 1st place by ˝ a game!  Woo-hoo!

Time to return to the room - John for a short nap and me to change into workout clothes.  I went to the Aqua Spa on Deck 10 Forward and used the Life Fitness weight machines and a treadmill.  Gotta work off that waffle and gain credits for ice cream later, right?  Then it was back to the room for some journal writing out on the balcony in the sun.  The wind wasn't bad if I sat against the forward dividing wall.

Meanwhile, John had filed a complaint earlier at Guest Relations about finding 2 napkins from a Holland America cruise ship in his rented tuxedo trousers pocket.  Hmm, we're on Celebrity, napkins are from Holland America.  By the disgusted looks we gave each other we obviously had come to the same unthinkable conclusion - the pants had not been cleaned since the last wearer!  Ack, eeew, choke.  Celebrity graciously offered to clean the pants free-of-charge, and same day service, pending a response from Cruise Line Formalwear.

Lunchtime found us at the Seaside Café again.  John had Pork Milanesa and Fried Potatoes while I continued on my angelic spree and chose a Chicken Caesar Salad and a bowl of no-sugar chocolate ice cream.

Back in the room we watched a movie on TV - Fun With Dick & Jane.  Boy, I sure miss our Tivo and the ability to pause, rewind or use slow motion!

Dinner attire this evening was formal again.  I think John's under-his-breath comment was something about looking like a penguin.  He sweats as soon as he even thinks about buttoning that shirt to the neck!  For menu choices John had (you guessed it) Caesar Salad, New York Cut Sirloin Steak, and Vanilla Ice Cream with Chocolate Syrup for dessert.  I chose Shrimp Cocktail, Chicken Broth With Tortellini, Salad, Coq Au Vin, and Strawberry Shortcake.
