It's the last week of our course and with a big exam on Monday its been a study weekend so not much travelling has been done.
Friday night we went to our favourite restaurant 'Paknam' and spoiled ourselves with seafood and spicy soups, he soups are really more of a chowder to be honest and seem to consist of half the ocean or meat farm in a broth with coconut and spices, we have had mock exams and also been left to teach alone now and had some great feedback from our tutors and also from the students. It gives you a big kick when the students come up after and thank you for the lesson. Them telling you they enjoyed makes all the planning worthwhile.

It feels like we have only just arrived now that it is nearly over but we are once again looking forward to getting on the road and having some adventures. It also makes for a much better read on here for you lot too J We have a snake farm a zoo and an Elephant trek on the list as well as a retreat which sounds like some 60's detox peace and love sanctuary with soft music and colonic irrigation.  We have also read about some sort of Monk question time where you can teach them some English and quiz them about life as a monk and the ways of Buddha, we are as always keeping our options open and even keeping and eye out for some work later in the year.

There are a few places that appeal to us including Costa Rica, Mexico, Australia, Portugal, Spain, China, Japan and the list goes on, a 9-5 in the UK seems so mundane at the moment but it is another option if we need it.
Travelling has made me more aware of culture, environment and the people that fill this planet I want to see it all two week holidays just do not sound enough any more, but I do really miss the kids and any decisions we make will have them in mind. That said most places in the world are only a day away and I'm hoping to buy a plane when I win the lottery.

Oh yeah I finally found a Guitar its a semi acoustic and sounds really nice, I got the guitar a soft case and lead all for about 50 so can't complain, I also considered a tattoo to mark my trip here but some others on the course went for them ad on seeing the work that has been done I think I will leave it!

Moving on
Hi Guys, good luck in your exams, How long do you plan to travel for? and is the teaching a way of funding the travel?
As you say big big world out there to see many adventures to be had, travel carefully watch your luggage, and enjoy!

Re: Moving on
We are hoping we can fund the travel teaching, maybe even go where the jobs are. There are places we would like to go but we hopefully have a lot of time to see them.
The more we look the more we are finding... We are open to offers :-)
