Slept ok last night, woke at 2am and read a bit still not caught up on the jet lag just yet. I'm now blogging this on the Saturday while on a coach but we will come to that soon.

Breakfast is a feast and I had curry, egg and bacon sandwich, corn flakes (of a sort) and fruit.
We then hit the big shopping area, 8 floors of wall to wall tat. My kind of paradise, I love my shopping but since clearing my flat and throwing out much of my life I am much less prone to picking up bit I do not need. I do however need some shoes for the teaching but have decided to wait until Phuket so I do not have to carry them around. I also want a suit made and had a couple of quote for 2 suits made to measure, two shirts and ties all from cashmere and good lining!! For around 9,000 Baht (about 180) remember these are made to measure and cashmere and if anyone knows me they know that's a LOT of material so a pretty god price eh?
I resisted however once again choosing to wait until Phuket (the more we buy the more we carry) we did however get haircuts 3 haircut and washes and one hair coloured 30 so I now have short green hair :-)
The girls in the hairdressers fed us too giving us rice and cake from their packed lunches.

It seems despite all the tourists that mass flock to this land of smiles!! (sometimes) they are still fascinated by us especially the young.
Ahhhhhhhh I very nearly bought a guitar an acoustic that sounded great for just over 30 with a soft case, I played a few in the shop and one of the basses  too but refrained once again until Phuket I do need one while I am here but not to carry around. Next we took a trip on a skytrain a railway above the city to the park the streets are very clean here but there seems to be no bins around and the park was nom exception, there was a gym in the park where people were working out - That's where we saw the ladyboy swivel and cartoon legs in the pictures shown - we also got told off by the army for playing on the swings (apparently we are too big)

We were invited to a pool party by our hotel tonight so off we trotted around the pool to nibbles and drinks - well I have to say WHAT a party, you know the ones nobody talks everyone looks miserable and the food is soggy and the coke watered down. Ok it wasn't that bad but nearly, on top of this they were planning a tour of the city in the Hotel bus later - Now as much as I like to point and laugh and mock the inflicted even I could not face a tour with this lot.. We sneaked off in an ou we forgot our suncream fashion and made our way to the Hotel restaurant for some Chinese, for infact the worse Chinese I have ever had............ Maybe that tour wasn't such a bad idea after all!!!
