Port Orleans 2
We arrived at the Port Orleans and they actually had a room ready! We weren't supposed to check in until 3pm, but we checked in early and got the very first room of the day. This made me so happy! We unloaded our luggage and then made our way to Animal Kingdom Park, by 11am. We weren't planning to have a sit down lunch, but the new restaurant, Yak and Yeti had available seating so we shared a wonderful glazed duck dish. Mmmm Mmmm Mmmmm!

From there, we rode Primeval Whirl (a less intense roller coaster) to adjust our psyches to the rush before attempting Expedition Everest, which turned out to not be tremendously scary; however, the drop backwards in the dark as well as the 80 foot plummet did provide a bit of a thrill. We also saw the Finding Nemo musical, which was fabulous! The actors carried around puppets, and their costumes blended with the personalities of their characters. The singing and choreography was well staged and well rehearsed! The show follows the movie closely, packing the major plot events into thirty minutes of song and dance. I recommend this attraction for ocean lovers of all ages!
