We crossed the Belize / Honduras border by boat. The process to get a Honduras entry stamp on the passport was mayhem and at one point we were presented with the option to leave our backpacks on the boat and take a cab to an office somewhere in the city to get a stamp. We passed on that option. After we solved the mystery of how to legally enter honduras we teamed with 4 English travelers to get a ride in a pickup of a pushy and rotund Honduran man who loved A-ha and Foreigner. Many, many hours later of being smashed into the front of his pickup we arrived in La Ceiba where he forcefully suggested a tip for his superior level of service.
