It would be safe to say that the government of the state of Veracruz defines the word "road" as "a thin strip of asphault connecting a series of deep pot-holes". Veracruz has the WORST roads in the entire country of Mexico! Even with oversized off-road tires, I am regularly having to put air in them to replace that knocked out by the impact of the pot-holes! We are enroute from San Cristobal to San Miguel de Allende. We overnighted in Cordoba, the coffee center, but it was really just a nine hour day of driving since we both want to get to San Miguel and kick back for a bit. So, we are driving for two full days without much sight seeing. Needless to say, the bus is holding on strong!
