Rach, Eric and his Dad picked me up at the airport and whisked me off, in a jeep no less, straight to the beach! After a quick swim we shuttled off down some crazed dirt back roads to another beach and had dinner right on the sand.. having got up at 4am I put up no protests when the gents ordered my dinner for me and a tequilla.. 

Guadalajara

The next day we got up early to see some turtles hatching. These cutie tiny little turtles braved their way from their eggs on the end of the sand and into the sea.  Leatherback turtle mums only give birth every five years so we were pretty lucky to catch them take their first steps.  A lady on the beach told us though that only  1 in a 1000 survive, though there were definate conservation efforts on the beach to help them out.

Markets

It was Erics last day in Mexico so he wanted nothing but beach and we were willing to oblidge. After hours of boogie boarding and sun soaking Rach and I got on a jet ski. Ive never seen her so terrified, and it was of course hilarious for me! Except when she insisted she saw Eric waving at us to come in.. and that I had to head back to the beach.. only it wasnt and I was well out of designated jet ski zone and headed towards one petrified large white man. Teach me to be too lazy to wear my glasses! I bet he has a holiday story to tell.. (due to my extreme skills on a jet ski he lived to tell the tale).

Mexican Man

We dropped Eric off at the airport and waved goodbye to our spanish speaker and headed into Puerto Vallerta town. Wandered around, along the beach front of course, and tried a few drinks, Coronas are about $1 which im very excited about.

Today we pretty much got up and headed to the bus stop and grabbed a five hour ride to here. We booked ourselves first class seats, they were fantastic, even gave us leg rests and a little snack bag with a sandwich! hehe. Wandered around here, there is a huge old section of town I cant wait to get a proper look at tomorrow. We have booked ourselves in for two nights at this hilariousy shabby hotel right near the old section.. it has free internet tho!

Its so great travelling around again and Im loving having to navigate around again with no language skills. Rach can count to ten though so we figure we are set.
