Last minute changes of plan by everyone found me heading up to Edinburgh again to celebrate Christmas.. it was a bit deja-vu-ish as all the decorations were the same as last year (when I went for New Years) and Edinburgh is such a small place theres no avoiding paths already trodden.
I was waiting for snow, being Scotland and all i was pretty hopefull, but it didnt snow till the 27th (Happy Birthday James!) where it snowed more in London and delayed my flight back!!
We wandered around Edinburgh and did some last minute Christmas shopping, Edinburgh being nicely uncrowded. We avoided the sales considering the three of us are all leaving within three months so no new items to be purchased as they just wont fit in an already overfull bag
Christmas Day was nice and relaxing, a late night call Christmas Eve from home meant a nice sleep in on the day, till Trace came bouncing out with a present style glint in her eye. And then we ate, and then ate some more, turned on the heater, ate, drank, ate, drank.. etc.
Boxing day was equally as taxing we went to the movies (the producers) and then went and watched some Ice Hockey in preparation for the trip to Canada. OK so we watched some Ice Hockey and then went to the bar.
Its really nice being in a city you have been to and checked out before, no pressure to run to the nearest museum and since I have been up twice already there wasnt anything that I needed to see so we just hung out and had a peek around. A much better Christmas than it had seemed I would have a week ago!

Christmas Markets
. To get the Christmas shopping experience though Tracey and I lined up for about 20 minutes in Tesco to buy our food, and most importantly our crackers/bon bons.
