First day at Southwark Council today. They have flexi hours and as long as I work a certain amount of hours each week - and get to work by TEN AM they are fine with however i choose to make up the hours. Very quiet day today, meeting people, walking around the buildings all that stuff! People seem nice and I think my agent was right when she said my boss(es theres two) were SUPER KEEN to have me on board. Such enthusiasm for little old me... aww. New work friend who had the joy of taking me about everywhere (and lives just up the road from me) did warn about err "quiet periods of work" so we will see.

I finally made it to Westminster Abbey this weekend and Im glad I did. Figured I couldntleave London without having a look! Its gorgeou s inside and I lit a candle for "my family and friends" so hope you feel a rosy glow.

Adrian celebrated his birthday AGAIN on saturday night for those without passports or visas.. Had a great time at a North African style restaurant I found and since there was a group of us we had our own "cave". The boys were happy when a belly dancer came around but i dont think any of us were happy when the bill came! Glad i ate my heart out!

Tracey came down this weekend for a visit so we went ice skating at the tower of London, busted it to the cinema and at last saw the new harry potter and went to the ice bar with some friends (see pic above).
