A couple of hours away from Haugesund is Stavenger, which has - ta da - a fjord. and what the hell is a trip to Norway with a bit of fjord surfing, ok, a bit of traveling up a fjord on a weird tourist boat that plays dramatic music at such compelling sightseeing stops as goats on a rock.
Lucky Stavenger had a fjord, cause we went on a Sunday and there was not much else, and it was raining too! A visiting naval vessel provided minutes of entertainment as we were allowed on board and so we wandered over the ship. More thumbnails ...
