Natasha, Adrian and I booked on one our favourite modes of transport, the megabus for a budget fare up to Oxford, not so far out of London. So we waited, and the bus didnt come, we asked a mega-guy oh yes the bus comes here. After the bus should have been and gone we asked a different mega-guy, it pulls up around the corner. So we went to the proper bus stop and a new bus came in, there was a few others with the same problem as us. The driver ummed and ahhed a bit, before letting us on "at the risk of the ticket inspector". If one got on we were all in trouble, as our tickets were timed for earlier. Luckily the ticket inspectors were busy elsewhere.

We went on a snoop around Christ Church College, which comes with a bit of history. A cat seen from a window in here is supposed to have inspired the Cheshire cat of Alice in Wonderland, but I'm afraid it was the "new" history I was after. Many of the buildings around Oxford were used for Harry Potter movies. One of these included Christ Church College's dining hall, which is used as the main hall at Hogwarts.

We were in the dining hall and of course a photo had to be taken so I went and stood next to the dining tables and we took a photo. Natasha decided she wanted a photo too. So she came up to the tables and went to take a seat. A man in a bowler hat, came bowling (hehe) over and started yelling at Natasha. "Have you no respect, what do you think you are doing etc", it was a big and loud yelling. Natasha just bumbled out an embarrased apology, and for good measure so did I. We all looked at each other - what the? Now it's an old place and respect is deserved, but the dining hall is used all the time, there were salt and peppershakers on the table left from a meal earlier that day. There was no signs, no warning in the tourist guides they hand out and she was just sitting, a gentle please don't sit there would have sufficed. Even though we aren't really sure what happened, we made sure not to touch anything else in Oxford that day!

One missed bus
