Late last year a TV crew (for sun teribi, yes that translates to sun television) filmed one of the kindergarten classes I teach at and I finally saw the video (it aired in December). I'm a Japanese TV star. You see me with the little kiddies playing some games and saying things like "yellow" (and then the little kiddies run and touch something yellow) and then playing outside with all these cool toys (like big trucks) that they have. My favourite moment is when one of the little kiddies (they are 1-5 years old) yells out EMMA SENSEI in a high shrieky kids voice.

There is a rather scary moment where the camera appears to zoom in on my bottom (im unsure as to whether it just couldn't miss fitting my bottom in the shot or what). Tracey kept going oh so tiny (about the children) but she stopped saying that during my bottoms starring moment.. must stop eating snickers bars!

I had thought that the old men of Japan were just staring at me cause I was foreign and/or wearing flesh revealing clothing (oh my god you can see my neck) but obviously its that they saw me on TV.

What a (international) star.
