Well the first thing I want to say that I am sorry about all the posts yesterday.  My finger got carried away with the enter key.  When we left Sabine Pass I had downloaded Offbeat tourist Attractions and it said there was a place that had a lot of Janis Joplin Memorabilia.  So it was off to the Museum of the Gulf Coast in Port Arthur.  What a great place, it was only 3.00 for Sr.  Had different sections for things that have happened in Port Arthur.  The Music room had a lot on Janis as she was born there and went to school there.  Her car was there and a lot pics.  In the sports room was a lot people that grew up around there.  Jimmy Johnson went to school with Janis.  Spent like 3 hrs there looking at everything.  Then it was on down the road to find a camping spot.  As we are on solar we can just stop anywhere.  Found a really cool spot where a lot of people are fishing and having a great time.  They fish all day and all night.  At night they have lights set up shinning out on the water.  It is a little channel between the gulf and the inter coastal waterway.  Everyone seems to be catching a lot of fish.  Got up this morning and had Boudan and eggs for breakfest.  Boudan is a mix of rice and sausage put in a sausage casing.  It make the sausage last a long time and is really good.  I think it is a Cajun thing. Well that is about it for today, have to upload some pics. Have a good day everyone.

Bill & Bonnie - Good on you for new trip, we are probably home for winter, spent our money on Sunroom addition for Ginny (and me). It has a 20 ft wall with 2 - 5ft windows and one - 6ft window, not much room left for studs, right? Photos are very good, informative, tempting, but we are waiting for Mexico photos, Check out Graham Bros RV park on east coast, should be near Villahermosa, don't know if still exists, seems like on way to Palenque. uno mas cervisa por favor.

I love that you have solar power to energize your electricity needs.. How independent are you! I love it. I am curious how this works, but I know you are too busy to explain. Having many conversations on energy revolutions and here you are doing it. Great stuff and I love that you share your travels. WE can all live vicariously and enjoy the great southwest....THe water must be clean of al that oil or how could the fishing be so good?
