We decided to catch the local bus into the city center or Centro as it is called here. The bus run straight from the airport and is simple to use the hotel staff were great in assisting us as to which one to catch, basically the A bus was the go.

A short 20 minute ride on a good clean bus and we were smack bang in the middle of the port of Malaga. We walked towards the water for some photos of the bay and noticed a Tourist info place. It was by chance that we were looking at pamphlets on the area and saw the Segway brochure. An English gent standing next to me said those things are just along the foreshore and the guide is English, cheers mate I said.

We wanted to do it and as it was only 50 euros for 2 hours why not ? We found Paul at his stand and told him we were keen. After a 15 minute instruction and test run we are Segway champs ( well Jord and I were, Jodie was a bit rusty still ). Paul took us on a magnificent tour of the Malaga area, it was awesome and we all had a ball on the Segway's, the weather was cool but sunny so we were glad we did it here it was well worth it.

Malaga is a beautiful city and has some famous history. Pablo Picasso was born here and Paul showed us his house, also Antonio Bandarras is from here and owns a restaurant in town. We saw some ruins that were 11 century and recently discovered, we went to the oldest pub in town which was circa 1840. He also took us up to the fort at the top of the mountain for some fantastic views of the harbor. All in all we had a good day and it was fun.

We had a nice lunch then shopped for the afternoon things are cheap here and the girls grabbed a few bargains.

We worked out the return bus with some local help and ended up at the right hotel. Although Andy was not here to guide us around we ended up sorting things for ourselves and had a nice day
