As we were all heading in different directions goodbyes were said and we left to go back to Union Island to clear customs.  We spent one more night on anchor there and making a visit to Happy Is. to watch the sun go down and the kite surfers do their thing.

Happy Is. is simply a bar on a reef, and with plenty of wind and flat water all around it is the perfect place for kite surfing.  We were crossing from the anchorage by dinghy and just approaching the bar when we were used as jumping practice by one kite boarder.  Much to the cheers of the rum drinkers in the bar.

We sat and watched the sun go down, rum punch in hand and cheered the kite boarders as the dared one another to surf and jump closer and closer to the bar.  Great aerials!

We left early the next morning for the 14 mile run down to Carriacou and dropped anchor at Hillsborough, the port of entry for Grenada.  Having checked in and had a quick look around we carried on for another 5 miles stopping for two nights at Tyrell Bay.  Balvenie was here and we made a date with Amanda and Mark to do some island exploring by local bus.

Finally the wind has dropped down and the weather has settled.  The steady trade winds have kicked in and we are starting to appreciate the peace and quite at night.
