Not a full entry here, just beware that Santa Cruz has two airports. If you have a connecting flight in Santa Cruz you may land at one airport and have to take a cab approximately 28 kilometers to the other airport for your next flight. If you're exiting Bolivia and already got rid of all your Bolivianos, you will have to withdraw more to pay for your cab and possibly another airport departure tax.

I got a quick peek at Santa Cruz from the air and from my cab. It is the largest city in Bolivia.
