On the next day, we took the subway to Brooklyn. Arriving at Brooklyn sure made me felt like I was back in Vancouver. No more hustle and bustle like Manhattan. We strolled around Brooklyn Heights and along the Brooklyn Heights Promenade. There we enjoyed the views across the East River to Lower Manhattan.

Went to see "Three days of rain". The much hyped performance by Julia Roberts turned out to be a total bomb. It was boring. Two ladies who sat beside us left during the intermission. I liked the performance by Brad Cooper though (he played the boyfriend of Rachel McAdams in the Wedding Crashers). After the performance was over, we rushed out the door, outside the theatre, the usher signalled to the people leaving the theatre to go to a gated area to get autographs. I am not a big fan of Julia, always think that she is an overrated actress, I got into that area and waited for her autograph after all. I guessed - what the heck since I was there. Waited for about half an hour before she came out from the side door, she smiled (didn't look too genuine) while she autographed the program. She didn't make a lot of eye contacts, in fact, she looked kinda scared of us 'cause some people were claiming "Julia! Julia!" all the time she was there. She hopped onto her limo after spending the longest 10 minutes of her life with us but we were stucked in that area. We were supposed to get the autographs from the other 2 actors. Brad came out, he was very nice, talked to the people, and so was Paul Rudd (Phoebe's husband on Friends). This experience was unusual as I would never stand in line to do something like this. The opportunity presented itself, and I got to see JR in person. My disappointment was that I didn't bring my camera that night, otherwise, I would be able to capture a lot of her close ups.
