One of my favourite season's in Ouray is spring, because the waterfalls get so big and loud. The roaring sound of the water at the Box Canyon falls is so loud you will have a hard time hearing each other. The park features walking bridges so you can get real close, you can almost touch the water. And if you are an experienced hiker you can get behind the Cascade Falls and feel the freezing temperature of meltwater gushing down the mountain. The Box Canoyn Falls and Cascade Falls are both located close to town, so you can take a short hike from mainstreet and get there in 10 minutes.

A short drive out of town will get you to the Baby Bath Tub Trail, the trail features multiple small waterfalls. Its one of my favourite hikes to do with the kids. The trail is easy and the kids can play with the water. The water has formed little natural tubs, so little pools! On a warm day Ill bring bathing clothes, towels and some snacks and we have hours of fun for free.
