Most of the trees that were flowering a month earlier such as the Colvilles Glory were bereft of flowers. The Lagerstroemia speciosas were experiencing a second season, due to the peculiar weather pattern, but not as profuse as in summer.
The huge echites caryophylla creeper was in full bloom and another unidentified huge creeper had also put out flower buds.
