How many times can you ride around a small island before starting to feel a little bored.   After the first five days both Al and I are in agreement  - we are starting to get restless and long for home.  Neither of us has been out of the country for this long and we start to want the familiar. I want to hear a Canadian accent.   I start to crave Alberta beef and vegetables, I really want lots and lots of vegetables.  We even start to long for cooler weather.  In the mid 30's most days it really is hot here and unless you are on the scooter or in the water it is too hot.  I even start to long for my own kitchen, I hate to admit that I am getting tired of restaurants but I am.  This week we have been trying a different restaurant every evening, with varying degrees of success.

Today is our last day - but we do not leave until almost midnight and we will be flying to LA and then to Calgary Pool at the Happy Hour Bar

 .  We go into town to take in the market one last time.  It is a beautiful sunny day today and the market is really alive with activity.  There are a great many more vendors here today - one last chance for shopping!  One more hokey pokey ice cream.  One last bike ride around the island - I won't say that I am enjoying the scooter, but at least I am somewhat OK with it.  For our last evening out we head to the Edgewater, the big resort close to ours.  It is lovely, much larger then I expected and it has a very large restaurant and lounge area almost right on the beach and the views and the beach are really lovely.  We have a dinner and a drink and watch the most perfect sunset.  We ride back to our resort and go to the Anchorage Restaurant at our resort for one last dessert (to share), and a chance to say goodbye to everyone.  It has been a lovely ending to our time here.
