We need to have our rental car back in Auckland by 6:00 p.m. so we have lots of time before heading back. However we do not want to tackle rush hour traffic in Auckland so after a few final stops in a few more stores in Kerikeri we program the GPS and head back. The drive back seems easier, Al is more relaxed and the roads not too busy. We do pretty well until hitting downtown Auckland where panic sets in trying to get onto the right street for our hotel. We discover our hotel is actually the Sky Tower (yes the same Sky tower the we visited earlier and had to figure out buses to get to). We get our rental car safely back and we are so happy to turn over the keys that we walk to our hotel. Tomorrow will be the start of our bus and rail tour and we both feel ready to see the sights without worrying about how to get there.
