I also went to the National Gallery at Trafalgar Square on Tuesday. That was awesome! There was paintings by Leonardo Divinci! I couldnt beleive it! I also could not believe how many religous paintings there were! Practically all of the pieces had biblical references. Facinating.
Spoke to a New York man today. He told me that basically, no one should logically be able to live in London, the economy is screwed. It is not physically possible to make enough money to support a person. He suggests even New York being a better run for your money. I would never have guessed that
One thing that I think is facinating about London, is the fact that no one has to actually think for them selves! Its a wonderful concept. Sceduales tell you when to be where...arrows show you where to go. Tubes take you to specific places, and intercoms telling you to watch out for this, wait for this, get ready for this. Signs tell you where to go in. Flyers tell you where to go at a certain time. Take out menus tell you whats for diner. Basically london is a city of robots. Everyone doing exactly what they are told to do, and when to do it. From the moment that their cell phone alarm clocks go off, untill the minute the club closes that night. I have a theory...that even though they have all of these resources and instant information available...instead of giving freedom, it strips it away from them. I know that I sound like I am going on and on about nothing important, but if you saw these peoples faces...then you would see how detached they are...how controlled. I see it at work in the cafeteria, on the tube, walking on the street, in restaurants. But then again, maybe I am missing something. Maybe there is something to it that makes it more understandable to be so taken over. Who knows.
Already talked too much. Should go. I am starving. Have to try and sell my new years ticet on the S.S. Queen Mary. I can tell now that it is WAY to much money for me....go figure...AFTER I buy it I realize it!
Oh yeah, and I found a bus company which sells seats for 1£ a trip! Bet its not the most confortable of ride, but for anywhere in England and Scotland!? what the HelL!
Ciao Ciao Everyone..I hope everyone is well. And that you all have a wonderful New Years!
