On the 8 and ninth of May I was taken on a brief tour of Germany's financial capital Frankfurt by my cousin Markus whom I hadn't seen in about 10 years.. This quick tour was not throughly enlightening.. Trust me Markus don't become a tour guide.. We enjoyed an icecream in the centrum while people watching. Where pointed out the Europeans plight for the hideous mullet... However on the 9th while everyone was at work, school, uni or both I ventured a up north by train for an hour to Koln (Cologne).... Before I forget my family lives about 15km's outside of Frankfurt in a village called Kelkheim... They nicknamed the surrounding hills the Dandenong... I did my own walking tour of Koln.. Discovered this is where Cologne gets its name from and isn't infact a French invention.. After this I headed even more sligtly north to Bonn which was the capital Democratic West Germany during the Cold War... I got bored of sightseeing so I just wondered around not taking in many of the sights. On my return to Frankfurt my lovely cousins picked me up from the station and I went to watched them train with their Aussie rules team... Although rain hit just before practice.. I helped with couching... I was told I was a hard task master... Until next time...
