My one night stopover in New York was uneventful. I tried to find out where the nearest White Castle burger place was, but after about 10 different sets of directions, and a few borderline psychotic cabbies, I gave up. It took Harold and Kumar an entire movie to find it, I didn't have that kind of time. So I flew to LA.

I had about 7 hours to kill in LA, so I had a top time driving around all the usual sights. I had a feed down on Hollywood Boulevard, checked out the Chinese Theater, toured Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive (where I'm pretty sure I saw Kate Hudson), Santa Monica, Sunset Strip, and Venice Beach. I topped it all off with a visit to the famous In'N'Out Burger (Big Lebowski fans, anyone?), I nice way to send me to sleep for the 15 hour flight back to Sydney...
