We went to the Westin for the 2nd night. The Westin was much better, even if it wasn't on the beach. I just love those "Heavenly Beds". My wife had told the Sheraton why we weren't staying, and they had apparently called the Westin, as we were treated extremely well and given a lovely large suite over looking the pool. We used my wife's Sheraton points to stay at the hotels, and they tend to be very nice to Platinum Sheraton members.

My wife grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, so we rented a car and did the old home tour on Friday. She drove around and I scenery watched while we visited her old house, high school, neighborhoods ect. Pretty nifty. I love learning more about her and her history. Phrase of the day "Wow, this has really changed."

We went to Sonny's BBQ for lunch which was amazing. I am so spoiled now when it comes to BBQ. I may need to travel to Florida just for a Sonny's fix. I can't even remember what we did for dinner that day because lunch just eclipsed all food for that day. Pulled pork BBQ sammich with french frys. Yes, the vacation eating had begun.
