I have to admit that I was very disappointed about the lack of chicken in my 7 hours bus ride to Pokhara. There were plenty of birds stuffed into the bus to Bhaktapur and back, while not even one to keep my mind busy.
Guess the chickens travel in a better class than me these days!

Pokhara seems very friendly and open, it has the only thing that Kathmandu missed: nightlife. And oxygen. The city simply doesn't shut down at 9 and you can roam freely without a worry. Guess there's something in the air (again, oxygen) that makes the people more inclined to spend longer nights outside, drinking and breathing without losing a decade of life expectancy!
Far less shops but still strategically located on most of the city's waterfront, a true eyesore. I really have to rent a boat and sail before leaving Nepal, if I can find more elephant... I could really invade some country with my growing army.
