Changi Airport was voted world's best airport for several years and man, it takes a few minutes to realize why.

Terminal 3 is the nicest ever: airy and green, so vast and clean that you might want to stay and never leave. Terminals 1 and 2 are older and less beautiful but still amazing and since they're being refurbished as I speak it wont' be too far in the future for the day the whole airport will resemble more and more the perfect machine utopia.

Live climbing plants growing on the walls. Fountains. Thousand of shops.
A swimming pool. A real swimming pool! Inside the airport!

A garden of butterflies and tropical trees. A slide for every child and manchild (and Italians).
24h restaurants and shops, free internet computer stands all over the airport, tv sets with infinite loops of movies, sports and even a game's arena to play some videogames if you're bored and broke. Even the supernarkets are 24h, if you're really in the need of anything. Free drinking water everywhere, and great prices for buffet/ethnic meals at every corner.

Everything is made in soft carpet, steel, glass or marble decorated with exquisite themes. Singapore itself is a modern imperial Rome, and what a wonderful first and last impression for the traveller. Unfortunately I only had three hours to spend here, not allowed past security until then. It would be the best place in the world to have a long transit time, anyway.

And that's all for the day. See you in New Delhi.
