First stop Far East... we plan to jolt ourselves into travel mode with a serious culture shock! However, rather than launching headlong into the independent travel/backpacking thing, we are taking the soft option - have booked a 3 week tour of China with Intrepid Travel (Beijing to Hong Kong).
