...the driest in the world. Apparently there has been no rainfall for the last 400 years.
San Pedro is a small town with dusty sandy roads but exactly the way you would picture a desert town. Small houses made of mud bricks, and the typical white wash church in the main square.  As soon as we arrived we were invited to a party in the desert. Sure, why not? Lots of meat on a metal cooking plate called ¨disco¨ and more Pisco. Very cold walk home after the party, using the little wind-up torch that Memo gave us! Who would have thought the desert was so cold!
