Morro de Sao Paulo is an idyllic island two hours by sea from Salvador, a very choppy sea sickness inducing two hours in fact.
Itīs made up of four beaches and a little town with sandy streets and a church. There are no cars and you can hire a wheelbarrow as a taxi. During our week here we stayed on every beach, including my favourite: isolated, quiet, soft white sand, palm trees, lovely capirheinas, fresh fish ...heavenly!
I actually read a book here, a very rare occurance, and apart from that we swam, ate and slept. At the end of the week it felt like the end of a holiday until we were back in Salvador then heading towards our next beach...
