Later we had to make a bit longer brake as we were chassing storm.. stopping on the bus stop to wait for storm to go. That's where we had first meating with Hungarian prostitutes.. which offer us very "fair trade" price of 12 Euro. We have being continue riding through Hungary avoiding motorways.
In one of the big cities which name I don't remember we stop at motorbike shop trying to buy some accessories. Instead we had half an hour convesation with weapon dealer. He told us a story that 10 years ago he was selling guns in suburbon countries however this days as political situation has mostly stabilized in balkans he found new bussines and importing motorbikes from UK and taking back custom made trike bikes- make sens I thought :).
Apart that there was no major big stories on the way I would remember.. Scenes, views and overall impression each of us had on the way is not up for describing on presenting on pictures... you guys have to di it by ureself :).
At evening wether was going quite cloudy and smoe light rain was falling down.. causing our riding not to plesent.. visors gets very dirty and trying to clean them with glove was suicide like idea.. when I have open visor during overtaking car to see anything.. I was hit by two mosquito that get in to my eyes.. and caused me emergency stop..
I have never seen so many mosquito.. wearing full motorbike gear aand close helmet was only way to not be eaten live by those vampires.
Anyway when we finally get to border of Serbia and hungary we had last stop at gas staion with very old school trucker atmosphere.. it looked quite dodgy.. but was innocent.. last fueling up, some food.. and off we go to Serbia.
We get throught Hungarian part easly carrying on to Serbian part, passport check, ok, green card...
at this point I have to explain that green card is an international proof of compulsory insurance (AFAIK) and you have to ask your insurer to issue this document to you when going abroad. Offcourse neither me or Greg did it. So for them it was like we didn't have insurance. So story start.. first official offered to us to buy it at price of 40E each.. then price went up to 100. We had a couple people which we spoke to.. and it even looks like they hesitated to let us in (i have printed fake green card like document which presented to them), one older guy asked what kind of present do we have for them in respond we ask what present would suit them? :> However at this point there was couple ppl around and i think they drop this idea. Finally as we didn't fancy paying this price for document which we haven't got only beacuse our own neglegnece we have turn back...
And what do you do if they don't let you through the doors? Ofcourse you trying through window. So.. cross border to Croatia with no problem and from there carry on to nearest border with Serbia. I think it was about 01am when we get there.. again Croatia side no problem.. at Serbian side we was faced with some young fella who come to deal with us. And I think that was our luck, it looks like those guys in side office had a party or something like that, being busy watching football.. and young dude shout to them,, "hey, do Polish ppl need Visa?", "No! You morron". Ok, here you go, two stamps in passport and off you go boys. With wide smile and quickly before any one change mind or remind himself about green card we f*** off :D.
If you ask where are the pictures?? Well we would love to know to... as Greg precious camera was either losted or stolen who knows :) ?
