We leftt carmarthen at 5.00pm (got there in plenty of time, which is amazing!). the changeover in copenhagen was interesting, we ran the whole time trying to find out where we were meant to be!!! got to the desk with 4 minutes to spare! Once we arrived in moscow, we were swarmed upon by the men offering 'official taxi service', but we declined and went to the trains, where the woman didnt speak english and just kept shouting the same thing over andd over again at us, so we smiled turned around and went to look for one of these 'official taxi service' men! cost 4 times the amount of the train but at least we were dropped off at the door of the hostel.

On the 22nd, we walked the 20 minutes to Red square, which was really majestic. we got there early so we avoided the rush of people. we then walked along the river to the chapel of christ the saviour, but weren't allowed in as we were wearing shorts!! so we sat outside for an hour watching people go in, and guessing as to who would or would not be allowed in due to knobbly knees showing!

We have met a lot of people in the hostel from the Uk who are doing the trans siberian trip. we tried to book tickets at the station but after an hour of queuing, it was us next in the queue but the lady just shut the window in our face and walked away!! we LOVE the Russians :) So we shall try again this morning to try and get a train out of Moscow to anywhere! but it may be too late to book to leave tonight!

We are going to try to get a train to Irkutsk..........
