Spent a brief night stop in Tamale, where we didn't in fact arrive until 1.30am. The concrete city's really just a springboard for our visit to Mole National Park, and our next leg starts this afternoon. We found a dirt cheap but adequate hotel, where the receptionist who was stretched across the desk, was most disgruntled to be roused from his slumber by two disorientated travellers.
