Bolivia is wonderful, and Happy 4th of July!

Sadly, this is a very short entry just to say, I love Bolivia!
I flew from Arequipa to La Paz (via Lima) last Saturday evening (no issues), and have been on the go with the KE Adventure group ever since! Not even time for email or TravelPod...
We went to Copacabana, by Lake Titicaca (not the Copa from the song...), then to the Isla del Sol and Isla de la Luna. We stayed in Copacabana and Isla del Sol one night each, and the accommodations in both cases were phenomenal. Especially on Isla del Sol - the Ecolodge la Estancia was stupendous.
The bus rides along Bolivian roads are... interesting. The scenery of course is quite breath-taking: altiplano, with great snowy peaks in the distance. The roads, well, bumpy but for the most part, pretty decent.
La Paz is fascinating, and I look forward to spending two days here next week.
I have to run - we leave this morning for our 8-day trek in the Cordillera Real. Will have to write and post photos next week, when we get back!
