St Breakfast in the Dakota Lodge met an Interesting Guy names Pieter Krueger , I did not ask if he was an Descendant from the Krueger Familia but it could be.
We had an interesting Conversation about past , current and Future for the South Africa.
He told me that in South Africa there are 11 different Languages and also that many different Cultures. This is actually very similar in Europa and to combine them into an unified South Africa 19 years ago with ANC coming to power has created more problems than it solved also very similar to Europa... all this political , power& money driven Political landscape engineering remains to be seen if it can work.
Pieter thinks that some of the problems , like corruption is deeply ingrained in the Genes of some the Cultures which are now at the Helm in this Country.... and I can see some truth in this ,tribes are communal , somewhat communistic orientated whereas the western Civilization which settled from the south going north are more Individualistic with different views " what is mine & what is ours "

Its like in modern times ..... to whom belongs the Moon ? just because the Americans set foot first there doesn't not mean the whole Moon belongs to them , but they do have a claim about the Area where they set foot first , this is the Logic I would follow .... but in Africa where in the past , People wandered and crisscrossed this part of the Continent never really settled on one place or Improved one Area for their benefits , they simply moved just like Animals following the Food sources , now to claim some of today' s cultivated Farmland is theirs just because some of their Ancestor wandered trough at one point seems to me farfetched and not right.... and going back to this Land Generations later now and killing the Farmers which improved their Land nobody claimed before they did is Genocide , but ignored by Political
movements or even endorsed to a point ,unwilling to enforce basic Law's.

After Breakfast said Goodby to Flippie and his Crew since i in the meantime did got the Permit to Fly in Namibia had been sorted out by Michelle Reinhardt from Trading Flight-permits which does an good Job at an reasonable price.

Flight plan filed for the short 75 NM Flight Port of entry/exit Pilanesberg FAPN where I landed after 20 minutes skirting around the Lansaria CTR.
Pilanesberg is a great stop especially for Port of entry , where you can get Avgas , Tax-free if you leave SA, going true Custom Immigration in about then minutes with very Friendly officials.
Hoped back into the SX and asked for an IFR clearance to Windhoek Namibia which I had filed electronically with Rocketroute.... the Tower told me that they did not have any flight plan and I needed to Call Joburg Flight Service......just when I had the flight service on the line my Cell phone quit with the message .... No more minutes.....
Morgan from the fire Station had mercy and let me use the Fire Stations Phone to sort things out.
It turned out because the Departure time I had entered was less than 30 minutes before actual departure time, the system automatically made the Flight plan for the next day........ crazy ..... anyway filed a new one and soon Climbed on top of the scattered clouds heading west.
ATC cleared me direct to an distant 400 miles west Intersection XARAK ,overflying Botswana... great shortcut
Flight time for the 595 NM leg was 2:32 with headwinds up to 50 Kts quartering on the nose.... anytime the Ground-Speed gets below 220 I reluctantly increasing Power-settings burning almost 16 Gallons of Fuel to get 265 true Airspeed out of my little Bird.
The Weather in Namibia was clear but high winds at 20kts gusting 35 at Windhoek , thats probably where the name Windhoek comes from.
Easy going Custom & Immigration about 5 minutes and a couple people showed up inspecting the strange Bird they never saw before. Got to met Peter Hartman from Aviation Centre which offered me space in his hangar to protect the SX from the strong wind and sand blowing.
Werner a Corporate Pilot showed me the way around. I walked over to the Nearby Hotel Safari
a 5 Star Facility , nice room for an very good Aviation rate ,paid less than you would for an shoddy NO star Motel on US1 in Daytona Beach.
Having a Beer to cool down from the 33deg C and going for a Swim waiting to have dinner served.
Dinner Buffet was excellent and I have an very good first Impression from Namibia , everything seem to work here with an German like perfection considering the Heritage no surprise
It is too bad Karin had to leave already She would have absolutely loved this place but we just did not have enough time in the couple weeks She was here.
