Cordoba is a large city in the Central Sierras, between and just to the north of Buenos Aires on the east and Mendoza on the west.  It is one of the oldest cities in the country and the second largest, and is the place where I grew up.  It has a population of about 1.3 million people. Most of the people are farmers and ranchers, and we have industries associated with those.  We also have some auto manufacturing plants in Cordoba.  Travelers visit Cordoba because there are many lakes and waterways, so water sports are popular, as is horseback riding.  The climate is sunny and mild.
