6 pasengers in a Land Cruiser for 4 solid days wasnt the most comfortable of experiences, and it was made less so by the driver and his wizened crone of a cook. Firstly, I dont know if youve ever heard Bolivian music, its pretty unique, and the guy only had 3 tapes, each with 4 songs on it. So obviously by the endof day 1, weŽd heard them all 4 or 5 times. After a while we took over the music with our mp3 players, but every time we got out of the van, his music would mysterioulsy reappear again. The cook on the other hand, didnt endear herself to me from the first moment, when I was greeted with a cackling old bag with about 4 teeth, chewing on some sweetcorn, and spitting it everwhere as she tried to offer me some. Standards of food hygiene are not the highest, but I guess that none of us got ill, so maybe im being a bit harsh on her.
The scenery was, as usual, of the highest order... Took too many photos, so ill just give you a summary set.
