Welp, the planning in detail has begun. We tried to decide between Denver or not Denver. Want to see cousin Dave, but can't do that and get to Yellowstone. We may swing through Grand Junction CO and see if he can drive 2-3 hours and meet us for a night. Otherwise, the trip looks set - 1596 miles from AZ to the Badlands in SD for the Rocky Mountain part of the trip. Then on to Chicago to see friends and family!
