Where have I been the past several weeks, you may be wondering.  Mm.  Not really worth my time to mention.  I've been doing lots of the same-old; nothing really new to report.  Not unless you want to hear about my return to Abu Dhabi with an internet pal of mine, and me eating three cookies for a cheap price and missing the last bus back to campus.  Or maybe you want to hear about my next new roommate, and how she keeps me awake at night.  I've taught her to whisper...but not to refrain from slamming things shut, rustling bags, and clomping around in heels.

Nahhh...not worth our time.

There is one thing that's happened to me which is worth my time to talk about...but wait, get this...I'm not supposed to do it.  It involves myself and (untrue!) accusations--but it's kind of an insult to all parties involved, is still pending, and I'm sure the higher-ups don't want to read about it.  Now, if you really want to know about this, come talk to me in person.  We'll sit down on nice black and red cushions, pour some Arabic coffee into little thimble-sized teacups, and have a nice little chat about that event and my innocent soul.

You might like to know about the YACHT.  The study abroads and I were invited to a yacht party, which is basically where these rich folks...I'm not going to name names...took us out in a yacht...not really that far, but just off the jetty...and we played music and stuff.  At one point, I think this hotel delivered pizza to us (yes--on the boat!) and we took over the delivery boat and drove it around the harbor really fast.  Never in America.  The one thing that made this lame was that mostly people wanted to talk about how they were going to post this on Facebook--that, and I forgot my swimsuit, which meant I couldn't jump in the ocean, chase jellyfish, and jump off the top of the boat.  But OK, I'll never be on a yacht again, so who's complaining?

I could also tell you about my reunion with Chris, Andie, and Sattar (happy memories!), or about eating two lunches, one right after the next, with two millionaires.  We were driving home at one point and came to terrible traffic.  Turns out there was an accident, and there was some wreckage where some guys were shovelling sand or something over it.  "Don't worry--they're just using that to mop up the blood!" I joked--before I saw the dark pools of liquid.  Oh my gosh!  They really were using it to mop up the blood!  Yeah...you didn't want to know that, I guess.

And that's why Little Liz hasn't been updating the T'pod!
