Here's how to get into a high-end party at a world famous club, filled with lots of artists and art promoters:

One.  Make sure you look nice.  In my case, I wore a pair of earrings I just bought, and put on fresh eyeliner.  That's as fancy as I get.

Next.  Find a crowd of people trying to get into an event.  In my case, I happened to be standing in front of this club called Trilogy, and noticed everyone crowding around.  I went to go see what was up.

Then.  Stand around like you know what you're doing, and wait for someone to adopt you.  For me, I waited until the woman taking tickets walled me off with a group of people and said, Everyone in this group? and the rest of the group--none of whom I knew--said, We don't know who she is, but she's invited!

And they let me inside! 

...and that's how you do it!
