Well, I should probably keep you all posted.

I wrote down a few things I wanted to say, but I don't have that piece of paper with me now, so you get to hear the boring version.

First, I haven't really been taking to this place very well.  There are on campus a lot of silly people (not confined to any one nationality), and not many ways to spend your spare time unless you happen to be appallingly wealthy, which I am not--in opposition to most everyone else on campus.  I'm kind of a dull person, so I haven't really made any friends, even though I've been to all the same events as everyone else.

So, what does that leave me to do in my free time?  Mostly, I cook food.  Other times, I just sort of walk around in circles in this garden they have next door at Internet City.

I'm trying to break out of the monotony, however.  I just bought a plane ticket to Yemen, to visit a colleague of mine (Kim) who, incidentally, introduced me to Travelpod in the first place.  I will be leaving 13 February, so I'll keep you posted on that.  One thing's for sure.  It can't be as boring as here, on my little campus on the outskirts of a big city.
