So India was the first big trip that me and Brenda took together. When it comes to traveling it is probably the hardest place in the world because it is just so crazy and hectic. If we can make it through this we can make it the anything. We flew into sri lanka first. We had a huge layover  there and the airport wasn’t that nice. After we land in new delhi the guy is waiting there for us to take us to the hostel. I booked a place in the bazaar and didn’t really know what it entailed. I knew I wanted something crazy, but I wasn’t prepared for this. When we get out the truck, the scene is just absolute chaos. If you were to picture hell, it would come pretty close. People everywhere, dirty, run down, and just the energy was like a living hell. You would have to see it to get the whole picture. The place we stayed at was something else to. You walked up like 5 stories with grates through the floors and construction and paint thinner to a room with no sheets or blanket. Just plain nuts. The first day we took a tour of the city and saw an old temple and then this old fort with an immense monument that was really amazing. On the ride home when it turned dark, the whole city smelled like it was on fire and a smog covered the entire city. don’t get me wrong there was a smog during the day too, it was like you were in the middle of a cloud the whole day. The sun never shines in delhi. When we got home and blew our nose, all sorts of black shit came out on the tissue. Can you imagine????
