Back to the dirty grim of Bangkok...with a hangover on a boat ride and bus ride.
Staying on the Ko San Road now for the other side of Bangkok, the epicenter for everything good and bad in Bangkok.
On my travels up I have discovered how much the country loves the King. Today is Monday and King day, everyone...well nearly half the population of Bangkok where yellow t-shirts with long live the king on the back. At the cinema we were treated to the national anthem before a film (300 by the way which is the nuts!!)...the whole anthem and video was actually quite up lifting, but I cant see that ever happening back in the UK.
Of to add to my travel experiences we visited the world famous Pat Pong for a ping pong show last night, amazing what the chicks can do with there bits.....we were treated to the firing of darts, blowing out of candles, writing of peoples names, smoking cigarettes, emptying and refilling of a coke bottle, producing long lines in rope, firing of bananas and of course the ping pong....those girls must have studied for years to perfect the tricks.
Just found out Chris cant get his visa until Wednesday, when our flight is, so looks like I'm going to Myanmar by myself for a week..shouldn't be an issue more of a challenge.
One more day here to visit the old capital north of Bangkok
