Dragged out of our bed we had a short trip on the ferry over to Kp Phangan, probably a good thing as we had been on the buckets again the night before.
At the dock, confused and haslled we agreed to go with a lady to her beech nuts on the west of the island, this turned out to be a result as the place was quite and had its own beech. A relaxed nigyht was in order. Happy beech, were we stayed just got better. An english bloke called Rob lived there with his Thai girlfriend and her family, therefore it was like living with a Thai family, chilling out in there living room, watching tv and having dinner cooked for us when we wanted.
To get around the island we hired motorbikes, therefore the title trying to avoid a ko phangan tattoo....which of course is a scare left from a motorbike crash!!!! Most days we spent chilling at the nearby beech of Hat Yao, only 10 mins on the bike..it had a bit more life and get beech massages for only 250 baht...about 3 pounds. Then most days we would watch the sunset on our beech. We did venture off around to some of the other beeches and of course Hat Rin well known for its full moon party, although we did miss this when here...instead we went ot two other parties. The Jungle party near Hat Rin and Pirates party in a ship near our beech huts.
The Jungle night wasnt too messy, in fact I drove with Chris on the back of the bike all the way to Hat Rin, at least 30mins away....a bit scary as the roads over the hills are step...as does shit you up. On the way back we also got into a bike race with two thai girls, a bit of fun and of course banta on the way. The Pirates night was too messy, we drank with Rob and Tom, another London geezer at our bar then went to the party and pissed the following day still we had to make the effort to get ourselves back to Bangkok More thumbnails ...
