I arrived early in the morning wondered into Le Village hostel and met Dan again, after a night out and a bus journey for me.
The next day was his last before going back to the UK and this started to make me think about my return, even though I had 4 months to go. His last day we spent at the impressive Batu caves on the outside of town, Hindu temples with large steps to temples in a cave and ambushing monkeys that stole my diet coke!!!
A bit of shopping and Dan left back to the UK....wondering what to do should I stay in the hostel and watch a DVD or should I go out...of course I decided to go to a local bar called Reggae and try and make some new mates

.As soon as walked in the DJ spoke to me and I soon made friends with Sham (the DJ), Vian and Ida. Two drinks later I was off with Vian and Ida to a Cuban night club in a hotel..a bit posh for me, then onto another club and my first view of the spectacular Petronas Towers lighting up the night sky.
The next day was a lie in and an Internet session, then onto the KL Tower for views across the city. Some weird bloke tried to get me to go his daughters birthday, I think he wanted a quick marriage. Later in the day I met up with Vian for some food and drinks.
The next day I deiced to go up the Petronas towers, with its Islamic star design and sky bridge for more great views of the city....check the pictures out...its easily the most impressive modern building I've seen on my trip and for me even beats the Empire State Building!!!!
Later in the day I met with Howey I guy I bumped into in Bali, with his two mates we went out to the beech club...good music but full of Lady boys and Filipino hookers.
Saturday Vian and her friends Jozrin took me to the Genting Highlands, the entertainment area for KL, set in beautiful mountains, but with cheesey arcades, shows and games.
Sunday was a chilled day I spent around the local mosaics and in the hostel chatting to some Germans and Austrians.
My final day a bit more shopping, but unsuccessful for trainers as the Asians all have small feet!!! Later I hit another club with Vian....top girl had mates who gave out free drinks, after free entry and free ride home.
So in the end I didn't end up going to the Cameron Highlands, or the jungle...but went with the flow, enjoyed KL and met a great new mate in Vian.
